Pittsburgh Vacation

 Hank's 1st Vacation and long road trip. We took a vacation to visit my Uncle Pat and Aunt Suzy in Pittsburgh. It was so nice to visit with them and to see this beautiful city. We crossed another ballpark off our check list. We took Hank to see the Reds play the Pirates at PNC park.

Hank- 8 months old

Happy 8 months Old Hank!

You have three teeth now. You love splashing water and swimming. I think you're going to be a water baby.  You can wave at people and sit up all by yourself. You roll everywhere.  You can clear on corner of the room to the other in seconds flat in your walker. You're quick! you like to open cabinet doors and pull photos off the fridge. You really like your Daddy, but Mommy is your favorite. You are sweet and funny. You like to smile at people. You don't know a stranger. You love food and are 17.6 pounds heavy. 

You are so curious about the world around you so we did Baby Sherlock Homes photos. 

Hank- 7 months old

Happy 7th months Old. Remember his 2 months photos were he was tiny enough to lay in the truck bed. It's hard believe how quickly he is growing. It just melts my heart to see him playing with J's old tonka truck.

Hank- 6 months old

It's hard to believe that someone is 6 months old already.

Henry and his stuff elephant George. He loves the voice that Daddy does with George. He likes George's tail and throwing George.

 Happy 1/2 Birthday Little Man!

Hank- Four Months Old

Happy Four Months Old Hank. 

Hank was on his belly and I was telling the Doctor that he showed no interest in rolling. Well, he had to make a liar out of his Mommy, and rolled to his back from his belly. 

He was 13 pounds 14 ounces. He  was 21 1/4 inches long at the Dr. appointment today.

Hank- 2 Months Old

 Happy 2nd month Hank. Mommy can't believe how big you are getting.

You're 11 pounds and 3 ouces. Your head is 40 1/2 cm. you are 21 1/2 inches long. You're in the 60 percentile in weight and 40 percentile for length.

You love to smile, coo, and talk to Mommy and Daddy. You like baths sometimes and love to stare at lights and mirrors.

You dislike sleeping at night, bottles, being dirty, and most especially tummy time.

This tonka truck belonged to J as a little boy.  So it was very special to use it in a photo of Hank. It's hard to picture J as a little boy, playing with this truck and now year later our little boy is going to have many dirty afternoons in the backyard playing with the same truck. 

Hank's Christian Dedication

Today we dedicated our little boy to the Lord during church. It was sweet to have both our families and friends there to celebrate in Hank's special day.

Hank- one month old

Happy ONE month birthday little man!

You were 8lb 10oz and 21 1/8 inches long today at your doctor visit.

You love to sleep and be in your carseat =) You nurse like a champ!

You dislike being naked, wet, dirty, or taking a bath =(
